• 4 GCSEs at Grade 2-9 including English and/or Maths

If you successfully complete this course, you will receive a NCFE CACHE Level 1 Certificate in Caring for Children

• Health, safety and safeguarding awareness
• Supporting children’s play, learning and participation
• Understanding individual needs
• Personal and social development, including confidence and self awareness
• Communication skills when working with children and others
• Introduction to expectations of working in childcare or early years settings

• Practical activities 

Upon successful completion of the course, students may wish to progress onto our Early Years Education or Health and Social Care courses 

If you are 16-18 years old, you do not have to pay course tuition fees*.
