West Lancashire College are delighted to be opening their doors to the local community once again and invite you to attend their first Open Event of the academic year on Monday 16th October 4.30pm-7pm.
The college offers a range of A Levels, BTECs, Technical, T Level and Apprenticeship courses. You can choose from A Levels in Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Further Maths, Psychology, Sociology or The School of Medicine.
Brand NEW T Levels – which are a new alternative to A Levels, Apprenticeships and other 16 to 19 courses. Equivalent to 3 A Levels, and developed in collaboration with employers, T Level focuses on vocational skills and can help you progress into skilled employment, higher study, or Apprenticeships. The college offers T Levels in Building Services, Digital Support Services, Education & Child Care, Engineering & Manufacturing or Health.
Vocational courses in Art & Design, Business, Children’s Care Learning & Development, Computer Science, Criminology Engineering, Health & Social Care, Psychology, Public Services or Sports.
Or Technical qualifications in Beauty & Spa Therapy, Bricklaying, Carpentry & Joinery, Electrical, Hairdressing, Motor Vehicle and Plumbing.
Plus, a range of Apprenticeships in Carpentry & Joinery, Electrical, Engineering and Hairdressing.
The college boasts outstanding facilities, impressive results, designated transport, fabulous wrap around support, great connections with employers and universities, opportunity for students to attend some amazing national and international trips, this year students are off to Cyprus, Germany and Malta, and they were recently graded as Good by Ofsted at their inspection in January 2022.
The college welcomes you to come along to their Open Event where you can meet Tutors and talk to current students, plus there will be lots of have a go activity for you to explore and free refreshments too! If you can’t make 16th October, there will be opportunity for you to attend their second Open Event on Thursday 23rd November 4.30pm-7pm.
