West Lancashire College would like to express their thanks and gratitude to the local community for attending their February Open Event this week when over 300 visitors came to view their fabulous facilities.

The local college is home to BTECs, Technical, T Levels and Apprenticeships, as well as an array of adult courses that can be studied in person or online. The college prides itself on providing the ideal start to a students’ journey towards university, employment, or further training for a career change.

At the open event, visitors were greeted by members of staff and a large number of student ambassadors who provided tours and gave an insight into their own experience at the college.

Visitors were able to talk to subject teachers and also had a go at lots of fun but informative activities including a smoothie bike challenge, pointing brickwork, nail art and changing a car tyre, all designed to give future students a taste of the courses on offer.

If you missed the February event, the college invites anyone to pop along to their next Open Event on Thursday 25th April from 4.30pm until 7pm. You can register your free place on their Event Brite page or contact the college directly on 01695 52300 / enquiries@westlancs.ac.uk
