Hairdressing Level 3

This is a progression course

If you successfully complete this course, you will receive a Level 3 Diploma in Hairdressing.

Mandatory units to be completed for the qualification:

• Monitor and maintain health and safety practice in the salon 
• Hairdressing consultation 
• Colour hair to create a variety of looks 
• Cut women's hair to create a variety of looks 
• Style and dress hair using a variety of techniques 
• Promote and sell products and services to clients 

Current selected optional units:

• Creative hairdressing design skills 
• Hair colour correction 

• Exams
• Observed work 
• Witness statements
• Evidence of prior learning or attainment 
• written questions 
• Oral questions 
• Assignments 
• Case studies  

• Work experience in our purpose-built Hair & Beauty Lounge

Upon successful completion of the course, students may wish to progress to Entry in Employment, Higher Education including Degree Apprenticeship or an Apprenticeship.
