Are you passionate about hair and make-up? Do you dream of working in salons, on photo shoots, or behind the scenes in media and fashion? Our VTCT Level 2 Diploma in Hair and Media Make-up Studies is your first step into this exciting industry.

This faced-paced hands-on course will help you build essential practical skills in both hairstyling and make-up, giving you the confidence to provide your own professional services and support others in a team setting.

The course has been built working closely with employers and professionals within the industry to structure the course units.

4 GCSEs at Grade 3-9, including English and/or Maths

If you successfully complete this course, you will receive a VTCT Level 2 Diploma in Media Make-Up Studies

Where can I progress?

Upon successful completion of the course, students may wish to progress to Entry in Employment or Higher Education

Course costs

If you are 16-18 years old, you do not have to pay course tuition fees.

If you are 19 or over, please call Learner Services to confirm the fee for this course. Course costs may be subject to change.

Adult Funding Changes

Due to changes in Government funding from 1st August 2019, students who resident in some postcodes in Merseyside and Greater Manchester may be unable to access funding from training providers and colleges in Lancashire and may have to pay all associated course and support costs.
