Media Make-Up Level 2

• 4 GCSEs at Grade 3-9, including English and/or Maths

If you successfully complete this course, you will receive a VTCT Level 2 Diploma in Media Make-Up Studies

• Make-up application for TV, Film and Theatre
• Fashion and photographic make-up
• Body art and camouflage make-up
• Creation of a look book 
• Creation of an industry portfolio

• Trip and visits including Professional Beauty
• Live make events such as Beauty UK, Mac and Illamasqua
• Expert tuition from industry artists
• Participation in skills competition including World Skills
• Study in a state-of-the-art bespoke Media Make-Up workshop

• Practical and theoretical assessments
• Online multiple choice exam assessments

Upon successful completion of the course, students may wish to progress to Entry in Employment, Higher Education including Degree Apprenticeship or an Apprenticeship.

If you are 16-18 years old, you do not have to pay course tuition fees.

Adult Funding Changes

Due to changes in Government funding from 1st August 2019, students who resident in some postcodes in Merseyside and Greater Manchester may be unable to access funding from training providers and colleges in Lancashire and may have to pay all associated course and support costs.
