Electric Vehicle/Hybrid Level 1

There are no entry requirements for this course, but it is beneficial to have industry experience.

If you successfully complete this course, you will receive a Level 1 award in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle Awareness.

• The types of electric/hybrid vehicles available
• Hazards associated with motor vehicle high energy electrical systems
• Working safely around the vehicles, including charging

• Portfolio 
• Online assessment

Upon successful completion of the course, students may wish to progress onto Electric Vehicle/Hybrid Level 2.

This course is £45. This course may be free if you are on an income related benefit, or a low income of less than £25,000 per annum.

Due to changes in Government funding from 1st August 2019, students who resident in some postcodes in Merseyside and Greater Manchester may be unable to access funding from training providers and colleges in Lancashire and may have to pay all associated course and support costs.
