West Lancashire College were invited to The Lancashire Great Big Thank You award ceremony by HCRG Care Group on 29th February, as a nominee of the Successful Partnership category.
The college have worked closely with HCRG over the past four years, and they are a fantastic support to the college and its students. HCRG support many college events including The Summer Science Festival and Careers Fair, and also provide their Health and medical students with industry placements.
The ceremony was held in the Woodland Suite at Ribby Hall, with a dress code of Glitz & Glam. In attendance on behalf of the college was Assistant Principal, Wendy Bennett, Curriculum Manager, Lynsey Makin and Campaigns & School Liaison Manager, Dawn Hughes, and the team were delighted to hear the college name being called out as the winner of the Successful Partnership Award!
Wendy Bennett, Assistant Principal at the college said, “we were very touched to be nominated for this award. HCRG are an invaluable partner of the college and help us to enrich our student experience as well as ensure the courses we offer meet the needs of the health care industry. We had an amazing night and would like to thank everyone from HCRG for their continued support in helping our local young people. We look forward to collaborating with them further over the coming months and years.”
