• Must be aged 19 or above to enrol on this qualification
• Hold Level 2 (or equivalent) qualifications in both Maths and English
• Possess a reasonable level of digital skills
• Achieved at least a Level 3 qualification in the subject area they intend to teach

If you successfully complete this course, you will receive a NCFE Level 3 Award in Education and Training

• Understand the roles, responsibilities and boundaries of a teacher or trainer
• Learn how to create inclusive, supportive and engaging learning environments
• Develop skills to plan effective lessons and produce structured session plans
• Explore different assessment methods and principles used to support learner progress
• Build practical teaching skills through delivering a 15–20 minute micro‑teach session
• Gain confidence applying teaching theory to real classroom or training situations
• Strengthen reflective practice skills to review performance and improve teaching
• Develop digital and communication skills through online learning activities and resources
