Our Level 2 certificate in Introducing Caring for Children and Young People will give learners a good understanding of childcare and education, parenting and babysitting. The course will also help students to make an informed choice about working with children and young people.
Entry requirements
- 4 GCSEs at Grade 2-9, including English and Maths
What will I achieve?
If you successfully complete this course, you will receive a NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate Introducing Caring for Children and Young People.
What will I learn?
- Safeguarding the welfare of children and young people
- Importance of play for early learning
- Use food and nutrition information to plan a healthy diet
- Young children’s development
- Craft activities with young children
- Introductory awareness of sensory loss
- The value of play to young children

Where can I progress?
Upon successful completion of the course, students may wish to progress to Level 2 Technical Occupational Entry in Early Years
