West Lancashire College invite members of the local community and school pupils to their Open Event on Thursday 20th November from 4.30pm until 7pm.
As an award-winning institution, the College has lots of exciting courses to choose from including Vocational, Technical, T Level, Apprenticeships and Advanced Level 3 qualifications, as well as great opportunities to connect people to their chosen career.
Guests at the event will have the opportunity to explore the College’s impressive facilities, including newly upgraded digital suites featuring state-of-the-art technology, a realistic hospital ward designed for Health and Social Care students, and a simulated primary classroom for those studying Early Years Education. In addition, visitors can discover a range of exceptional learning spaces such as the School of Science, the Advanced Construction & Engineering Centre, the Sports Massage suite, and The Hair & Beauty Lounge.
As well as finding out more about the wide range of courses on offer, visitors can have-a-go at many exciting activities hosted by curriculum teams and speak with the College’s employer partners including HCRG, the University of Lancashire, the Police and Tawd Valley Developments about their future career.
Throughout the evening, Student Ambassadors will be available to guide guests around the campus, while support staff will share details about the free College coach service for students travelling from Liverpool, Southport, Ormskirk, and Wigan. Visitors, as well as the wide range of support enrichment opportunities, financial support options, wellbeing initiatives, and the exceptional wraparound support the College provides.
