West Lancashire College, in partnership with the Northwest Apprenticeship Ambassador Network (AAN), is delighted to invite companies to their inspiring Project 100 Northwest event.
Join the team for a morning designed to give SMEs real insight, practical support, and valuable connections. The event promises to provide first-hand success stories from Northwest Apprenticeship Ambassadors on how apprentices have transformed their organisation, explore the full range of support, funding, incentives and grants available to support those in taking on an apprentice, as well as the opportunity to engage in a live Q&A with current apprentices and employers who will share their honest experiences and advice.
Those in attendance will be among the first to learn about the re-launch of the College’s Construction and Engineering Apprenticeships, starting in September 2026.
Christian Thersby, Principal of West Lancashire College said, “Apprenticeships are a fantastic way for organisations to develop skilled, motivated employees while addressing current and future skills within their sector. We are delighted to be working in partnership with the Northwest Apprenticeship Ambassador Network who will be offering a wealth of invaluable information at the event to those looking to find out more about the benefits of Apprenticeships. I look forward to meeting many of our local employers in the near future.”
The college invites companies to enjoy a complimentary breakfast, great conversation and plenty of networking opportunities from 7:45am until 9:00am on Thursday 12th February 2026.
