West Lancashire College Principal, Christian Thersby, welcomed parents and carers of current students to a special drop-in session, fostering open dialogue and collaboration to enhance the student experience.

The informal session provided an opportunity for parents and carers to meet directly with the Principal, share their perspectives, and discuss ways the college can further support students in achieving their full potential. The event is part of the college’s ongoing commitment to building strong partnerships between home and college, recognising the important role families play in student success.

Christian Thersby said, "At West Lancashire College, we believe that strong partnerships between home and college are key to student success. The drop-in sessions were a great opportunity to have an informal chat with parent/carers and learn more about how we can support every student to achieve their full potential. Thank you to those parent/carers who took time out of their day to meet with me, your feedback is very much appreciated."

The college have already been able to implement many of the positive suggestions from the drop-in sessions and are looking forward to hosting more opportunities for parental engagement.
