NCG Online Learning kicked off the year with a strong community presence by attending the Skelmersdale Jobs Fair, organised by Skelmersdale Jobcentre in collaboration with local MP, Ashley Dalton.

The event provided a valuable opportunity for the team to engage with local residents, job seekers, employers and partner organisations, raising awareness of the wide range of online courses and educational opportunities available to adults across the region.

NCG Online Learning is part of NCG, one of the UK’s largest education and training organisations. The college offers a broad range of fully online programmes across sectors including Business, Digital, Early Years Education, and Health and Social Care, making learning accessible and flexible for adult learners and working professionals.

Liam Need, NCG Online Learning Customer Service Coordinator, spoke with representatives from Ashley Dalton’s team about the importance of attending the event and connecting directly with the local community.

Reflecting on the day, Liam said, “I think a lot of people in the local area aren’t aware of the variety of courses we offer, or that they can study entirely online from the comfort of their own home. It’s been really positive to get out and speak directly to people, let them know what’s available, and show that these opportunities are right on their doorstep.

Online Learning continues to work closely with local communities, employers and organisations to support upskilling, career progression and continuing professional development for adults across Skelmersdale and beyond. Follow through to our Online Courses page to see the wide and varied learning opportunities, perfect for you.
