Our Supporting Teaching and Learning course is ideal for those already working in a school environment, as well as adults who are looking to begin a rewarding career as a Teaching Assistant. Designed to provide a recognised qualification, the course equips learners with the knowledge, skills and understanding needed to effectively support children and young people in the classroom.

 

To enrol on this course, you must either be employed within a school setting as a Teaching Assistant or undertake a voluntary placement in a school for a minimum of 6 hours per week.

Throughout your studies, you will be supported by experienced tutors with extensive backgrounds in primary education, who will share valuable industry knowledge, practical advice and real-world insights. By combining classroom learning with hands-on experience, this course will help you develop the confidence and skills needed to support learners and progress within the education sector.
