Understanding Retail Operations Certificate Level 2

Course Overview

If you work in retail, it's important that you're fully trained and equipped to meet customers' needs. Our level 2 certificate in Understanding Retail Operations covers everything from the selling process to retail law to handling customer complaints. It's a great way to make sure you have the skills you need to do your job. This fully online course lets you carry out training in your own time, whenever and wherever is most convenient for you.

Course Content

Develop understanding of the different aspects of the retail industry

Learn about customer payments and the selling process

Understand how to provide good customer service

Learn how to deal with queries and complaints

Gain an understanding of basic retail law and the importance of correct stock control


Entry Requirements

A good level of English and Maths is required for example GCSEs at Grade A*-D (Grade 3-9) or equivalent at pass level


Learning & Assessment Methods

Learning will take place via an on-line platform, you will be able to learn at a time that suits you without the need to attend college.  At the start of your course you will be allocated a tutor who will support you through your qualification and you will be provided with all learning and assessment materials which have been specifically developed to support you in meeting the qualification requirements.  Your tutor will also provide you with written feedback on the assessments you submit as well as ongoing support through a remote tutorial.
